Course Format
The 20-hour per week required course time includes 10 hours of Spanish lessons and 10 hours of Teacher Development. This includes input sessions at the school, regular assignments and language awareness tasks.
Four general modules cover technique, methodology, language acquisition and language awareness. For each module you will complete a series of reflective evaluations and critiques, create materials and lesson plans, and also keep a teaching journal.
These tasks and corresponding instruction will help to become a critically aware and confident teacher. In addition, all students will maintain a personal portfolio.
